Bob Saville competes in 1st Club Race and wins

Exclusive Motors President and Co-Owner Bob Saville competed in his first Porsche Club of America Club Race on November 4-6 at Carolinas Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC. After attending the rookie orientation meeting on Thursday and practices on Friday, Bob started his first Sprint race on Saturday, and finished 1st in GT-5R class. Then, on Sunday, Bob again finished first in class for the 90 minute enduro race.

Driving his NaroEscape Motorsports 1974 914/6 nicknamed "Papa Smurf", Bob managed to stay out of trouble throughout the weekend. However, while working through a balky shifter and heavy vibration during braking, his pursuit to take the checkered flag for the enduro was halted when during a pit stop it was discovered that one of the rear tires had almost completely delaminated.

To top off the weekend, the other NaroEscape Motorsports 914/6 - "Huey" won Best Race Car in the first annual Club Race Concours being held in conjunction with the race activities.
